Park Springs subdivision is a joint project that has been undertaken by partnership formed by HPI and Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville. This subdivision development is located in Eastern Jefferson County, and will consist of 96 homes. This project has financial support from local government and utility companies.
Park Springs will provide reasonably priced housing in an area of town that has significant needs for workplace housing, and affordable housing opportunities in general. Nearly 50% of all homes sales in the Park Spring subdivision will be targeted to households at or below 80% area median income. The homes built by HPI, will feature a three bedroom, two bath floor plan.
A walking trail will be integrated into the community design, and a significant portion of green space will be left undisturbed to maintain a park-like setting. All homes in the development will be Energy Star rated to ensure efficiency, and green building standards will be adhered to by all builders.
